For Staff Roles

Beyond admins, teachers, parents, and students, a school can create dedicated staff accounts: Accountant, Nurse, Security Guard, Bus Driver, Bus Assistant, and External User. All staff accounts share the same simple navigation — the Connect tab and a profile — with extra modules for specific roles.

What every staff account can do

• Read school announcements and see events.
• Message the administration directly (the nurse can additionally message parents).
• Manage their own profile, language, PIN, and notification settings.

Accountant

Accountants additionally get the Finance and Uniforms modules — the same tools described in the admin chapter: generating and recording payments, tracking collected/outstanding/overdue amounts, exporting reports, and processing uniform orders. This lets the school separate money handling from general administration.

Nurse

The nurse account is built for family contact: besides announcements and events, nurses can message both the administration and parents — for example to reach a family quickly about a sick child.

Security guard, bus driver & bus assistant

These accounts keep gate and transport personnel connected to the school's communication: announcements, events, and a direct line to the administration. Bus trips themselves are run by teachers designated as bus companions (see Chapter 3); the driver's name and phone are registered on each bus record by the administration.

External user

A view-only account for people connected to the school who are not staff or family — they can see the announcements and events shared with them, and nothing else. External and staff accounts are deliberately blocked from all admin and academic modules.
